got it framed at Michaels cost $ 260 EFFIN dollars ... if you look at the photos i had it framed in glass..NO MATTING ...so the color or my walls act as the matting and in the other photo you can see how they keep the poster in place...
grant its not the best poster to get framed out of my collection 100 plus posters but its the only one that looked good in my living room....

i dont know how some of you guys do it...fram posters..its CRAZY HOW MUCH THEY CHARGE... i look at the frame..its so cheap not even real wood..i know i can make a better one... so for my next poster im going to make my own frame .. i bet i can do a better job for more then half the price WITH REAL WOOD like Maple or Mahogany... ill post picks of it when im done

please tell me what you guys think
have you seen the colors of my fathers eyes

I like the frame job. While I'm not the biggest fan of Micheals, I think that one looks really nice. The floating frame is a cool idea. Can't wait to see your homemade frame... sounds cool also.

I really like the fram job too....just wondering why you went with that poster after collecting for 15 years?? First one I got framed was SD '95...not because the poster image kicks ass (probably the ugliest one I have framed) but because it's signed by all the members of The Ramones and Pearl Jam.

michaels charges waaaayyyy too much for framing. i'm kinda spoiled though, i've got a buddy who owns a frame shop and does my framing at a nice discount :)

i own a frame shop and art gallery. framing can be expensive, i agree. but consider a local framer, or at least get an estimate from one. stores like michaels and other bigbox craft/frame stores typically have ULTRA high prices just to then give you a "discount". most smaller framers don't play the sale game... and have more experience. just fyi...
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)
