    Anyone who kills someone else, in a deliberate fashion like this (as opposed to in a bar fight where there is equal opposing aggression) is not a balanced human. But how can the crime itself be used to justify leniency? And the more brutal, the less need for harsh punishment.

    That story has been all over the paper and news in New England. Its really messed up. What is even more disturbing is that the mother wants to bury the brother (killer) beside his two sisters (who he killed). I understand the family thing, but come on!

    I would go spread his ashes across the dump.

    Its sucks that they had to kill him, but it was to save his final sister, so it was definitely necessary. Would have been nice to know why he did it and have him be punished for his horrific crime.
