Imagine my surprise when all it took was one simple glimpse
To bring me back to this pit of despair
With my heart heavy and my stomach empty
As quick as I could I was gone
Back to that time oh so long ago
When I knew we would end
Never to be again
Never again with anyone
Why do I have to be so scared
Just don't want to be hurt again
Be that as it may, I'll just end up here to stay
Alone all the while

Of one who says 'I love you'
