I got my Mookie card back!

Ok, first off, you'll all think I'm full-o-shit but this story is true. About 16 or 17 years ago when I was a much younger fella I sent the members of PJ (any member) an item requesting it be autographed and returned. Of course I had no expectations of ever seeing it again (it was shortly thereafter 10C informed all members that items sent asking for signatures would likely not be returned). A good friend of mine (Shane) said, "you know you'll never get that back, right?". Well as it turns out....Shane and I both were WRONG! I received it back in the mail today.....16 or 17 years later. Strange huh? Well, the item I'm referring to was a 1990 Hoops basketball card of Mookie Blaylock. The EXACT 1990 Hoops Mookie Blaylock card that I received today from PJ via the SDE of the box set. Yes, it's true. Many many moons ago I sent that very card in a small envelope and a poorly written letter to the band asking it to be signed and returned. Well, the one I got back today wasn't signed but nevertheless I thought it was rather "neat".

Anyway, I'm sure you're probably asking yourself for the 30 seconds of your life back you just wasted reading this but I felt the need to share. It made me smile.

    it was probably never even given to the band.
