  • I enjoy it, but it's a bandwidth hog, and thankfully is blocked on our network at work.

I used to use this in college about 6 years ago, but then they made it US only. Last.fm have the same feature, I use that one instead now.

A resource hog too... I use it at home with no problems, but trying to listen to it at work and do ANYTHING else, my shit-ass computer bogs down like it's running mission control.

Pandora is very cool. Like others have mentioned, the school district i teach in has a filter that blocks it. Last.Fm doesn't work either. i found another one called meemix that i use because at work, i can. Same concept. create stations according to your musical tastes. It also has a pretty cool feature that allows you to set the mood of the songs played. i really like that feature. Because of that and because i can use it at the job i like it better than Pandora.

I find it to be pretty awesome through my phone hooked up to the iphone dock. I can put on whatever I want depending on the mood, for fuckin free! And i've discovered dozens of other cool bands with pandora.
