initially i liked the old intro....never saw that one live.

but having seen "slow-intro" Porch 3 times my mind was changed. especially when Eddie just hits the chord sharply on beat before actually kicking into the intro (and the kind of doo-doo-do-do sound his guitar has on it) . its kinda funky. see Adelaide 2006 intro version

Cant get enough of the slow intro...In fact when I heard about the remix/reissue, i was anticipated a nice surprise and a possible new version of porch with the intro slow...Didnt get it, can still hope to see it live though.

Hard to say, I think it depends on what lead into that song.

I think for a end of set, I like the fast intro but a set-start or for mid-set the slow.

    I dunno...

    Hahaha!

I just like how they've changed it a bit. Wish they change up some of the older songs they seem to "labor through" anymore.

Personally, I love the old, fast intro, but I sure as hell love it when they rock out for an additional five minutes before ending the song!!!

Its one and the same. Although many people get confused with the newer version. The real question is which solo version do you prefer? Old, where Ed goes apeshit and unpredictable or New, where he goes to the side of the stage to chain smoke?

but the slower version of Jeremy is way better.......
