Tool and Beastie Boys are cool headliners, but Coldplay???? come on! How the hell are they still popular?

Lineup looks good. The bands I want to see are scattered throughout the 3 days (which is expected) so I have to decide if this is worth the 3 day pass. I guess it depends how much the extra charges will be.

it is in liberty state park in jersey city

I went last year and thought it was poorly run
you cant take beer outside of these areas where they serve it-state park rules
mile walk to the venue as well

if it wasn't for radiohead's kick ass shows, the festival would have been a total failure IMHO

despite the lineup being pretty good, i won't be going back to this thing, it was a joke last year. run terribly.

thanks for the heads up...it's so easy to under-estimate logistics

Care to add what about it was run badly? Was the timing of bands coming on, washroom locations, lines for food, etc. One thing I didn't like about Lolla was the main stages are so far form each other, and one band would end at 6:30 and the next band would start at 6:30 on the opposite end.

yeah i think i can speak for what everyone is talking about even though i didn't experience those things...

there was a five beer limit and i talked to people who literally spent 3 hours on the beer line.
the bathroom line was of course long.
it took an hour and a half to get into the festival.
the free water was extremely warm.
prices of course were very high.

nothing to out of the normal for a festival, but other than that i had a great time.
Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
    Butthead: Huh huh.

    Agreed!!!
Last year pales in comparison to this years line up...however, still beer cages  and if I remember correctly you could only get three at a time and the lines were ridiculous. No camping, it's a day fest with NYC right across the water...so the partying doesn't stop with the shows.

    I dont agree with that
I will take radiohead over tool, beasties and coldplay

I love Radiohead too (they were 90% of why I even went last year, with KOL being the other 10%), but this entire line up is just to solid to pass up.
