Boston to Mansfield

does anyone know how to get from boston to mansfield? i want to go to a mansfield concert but mapquest says its 41 minutes away, meaning cab fare will be crazy. does anyone know of a cheap bus or train or something?

    There is a commuter rail from Mansfield that goes into boston and vise versa. I dont know exactly how far from the Tweeter center the commuter rail is or how easy it is to get a cab from there.....Becareful the commuter rail doesnt run all night make sure you can catch your train back into the city.

    yes greyhound? or the t commuter rail, boston outbound toward providence, zone 6 mansfield 530 pm. $2.00 return inbound is the problem no late nite runs. not til early the next mourning. still way cheaper staying the night than a cab? cab fare ur talkin well over 2 hundo round trip!! cya at the show?? ms

    thanks, hopefully i'll be at the show, me and a friend are going to boston just for the hell of it and i heard that if there are no shows they give away tickets or something? is that true?

    Find a ride.
    The commuter rail is an option to get there, goes to Mansfield center and probably a cheap cab ride to Tweeter, but if you check http://www.mbta.com , you'll see the last departure from Mansfield back to Boston is 10:17PM (Stoughton/Providence line).
    So unless they expand service on concert nights, you'd need to leave the show after PJ's 3rd song or so to cab back to the station.
