Allman Brothers @ the Beacon

The Allman Brothers just finished their 2009 run at the Beacon and I was lucky to have attended a few shows. They had lots of guests (Clapton, Trey and Page from Phish, Bob Weir and Phil Lesh, Buddy Guy, Jimmy and JB from Widespread Panic) and the band was really tight. If you havent seen them lately, they are really on fire (Derek Trucks and Warren Haynes are two of the best guitarists you will ever see).

    One of the dudes from ZZ top also came out one night and the whole band wore fake beards. Fucken great!
