Thought I'd ask cause....I just paid 61 dollars for used Yield vinyl which has supposedly never been played. Cover's not in mint condition though. Was I ripped off?

On ebay recently, they've sold for $66 and up to $79.99 sealed. A opened, mint, never played went for $61 and the range for opened ones has been $44 - $63. So your purchase falls within those parameters.

I bought a used/excellent copy of Yield about 6 months ago for $51. Vinyl was great, cover has shelf wear. SOunds like you're in the typical range. To me the vinyl is the main thing. As long as thats good, you're good!
