Anyone have one of these? If so, what do you think? Is it worth it? What kind do you have? Can you extract still images from the video? Just wondering. Thanks! :D

I got this one for my daughter.

She really likes it. It is really more for youtube size videos than watching on television.

I do believe you can use the software that comes with it to take a 'snapshot'.

Thanks for the info! But what do you mean about it being more for YouTube sized videos than watchingn on TV? Do you mean the picture quality declines when the image gets bigger?

I'm curious as well to others experiences. I'm interested in getting one, but not for youtube-esque videos, more for a cheap alternative to a "real" video camera.

This is not a replacement for a good video camera - the resolution only goes up to 640 x 480 and yes, the quality does go down when watching it full screen or on a television.

school project, someone in our group had one and we used it for a video project, pretty solid and easy to use, quality isnt that great but it got the job done, wouldnt get it if you are looking to make a professional looking video

I don't know much about video quality. I was thinking of getting one for a friend who's about to have her first baby. I figured she could carry it in the daiper bag so she doesn't miss the opportunity to film any of those spontaneous, precious baby moments. Think it would be good for that?

I was also thinking of getting one for myself to film vacations and maybe some interviews with my older relatives.

Was the one you used for your school project an HD one?

    Thanks! :D
