    it seems unnecessary when we should be able to change them but when you post a message you can uncheck 'attach a signature' and it won't leave it

    Ive been trying to change mine too, looking for it in a hour or so. Now i know that its impossible.

    I followed your instructions and my sig still shows despite the fact it is checked off to not attach it.

    To change your signature follow these steps:
    1. Click on the "profile" link on the Pearl jam website.
    2. Then right next tyo your picture there should be two links, EDIT and UPLOAD. Click on EDIT.
    3. Then scroll down to your signature. You should be able to change it. If this isn't clear enough, then please contact me.

    Laughs dude. It was never that we didn't "know" how to change our signatures, it was that the feature to do so was not available for a long time. Thanks though. :D
