how do i get there from westchester? i know i have to take the A train to get there, but that would mean i'd have to go all the way downtown then go all the way back uptown, isnt there a faster way? and if not, at what street to i get off (i usually take the 4 to go down to the city) and is the 4 the way to go and blah blah blah..

    if you can park near the end of the 1 Train in the Bronx, you can take that to 168th and switch to the A.

    oh yeah, and i dont drive :o i totally depend on public transportation and yeah, it does suck.

    Where in Westchester? Don't all three Metro North lines stop at 125th St? It's downtown from Washington Heights but it's way better than Grand Central.

    I'm from westchester as well, still trying to get reasonable tickets to the show. Anyway I'm sure you'll be able to take the train to grand central then hop on a subway. Try http://www.mta.info might help out

    yonkers, but im pretty sure that 125st is across the river.. =\ and i think what im gonna end up doing is take the 20 bus to the B train then transfer to the A. but for coming back i need to take the A to 59th and transfer to the 1, then take the 1 to the 7 then take THAT to grand central and take the MTA home. good lord is that a lot of trains... if anyone has a less stressful way for me to get home after the concert, then god bless you. ;)

    Downtown 4 Train to 161st, transfer to the D train. Take the downtown D Train to 145, switch to an uptown A/C.

    Or you could take the 4 Train to Tremont Ave. and catch a bus to the GWB Bus terminal and walk to the show.

    be sure to check what time the last train leaving grand central to westchester is. if you will be taking the metro back, i would suggest at the end of show, take the A (the C will not be running at that time), get off at 125th and catch any of the like 5 buses right next to old navy that will take you to the metro 125th station. it is real safe and fast, definetly faster than you riding to 42nd street then taking the S subway to 42nd grand central.

    another way, check mta.info, i think the M110 bus right by the United Palace will take you straight to 125th metro north terminal.

    or try to find out what the other poster said and find a bus closest to your home to GWB terminal and just walk the 6 streets or so to the United palace.

    From my first show in Hawaii when they opened for RHCP to upcoming 2016 MSG and Wrigley. Seen them in every continent except Africa and Antarctica.

    Does anyone have an extra ticket to the NYC shows? I live about 15 blocks from the United Palace and (in exchange for a face value ticket) I would get you to the show, a safe parking spot and a guarantee that you won't get lost!!! I can get you the best subway/driving directions to get where you need to go after the show too.
