The Response I Got From 10C About Missing SDE Items

Did anyone else receive this message from the 10C about their missing or damaged items that were supposed to be included in the SDE Box Set?

"Your complaint has been forwarded to SONY. They will be contacting you with return instructions."

I certainly hope that they don't think that I plan on returning the entire box set to them for just a repalcement of 2 discs?? I guess if Sony picks up the return shipping fee, it wouldn't be so bad. Or replaces it with a signed Box Set instead! :lol::lol::lol::lol:

  • I got the same e-mail, can't say I'm too happy with this

    Did Sony charge me more than other online retailers ? did Sony take my cash months before sending the item ? If I had purchased from Amazon and got a missing album, would I have had to deal with Sony or would Amazon have taken care of it ?

    Really thought 10C would have handled this better.

    Second, be happy you have a set. I don't have mine yet. It's been back ordered at best buy. I'm really anxious. WHAT IF IT NEVER COMES??

    This is the last time I make the mistake of not ordering from the Ten Club. I was broke. I had best buy reward coupons. I ordered.

    Now what.

    I have absolutely no friggin' clue.

    TenClubTenClubTenClub. Never again will I try to save money for something that has emotional & musical significance for me. I'm Effing stupid.

    My box set from Amazon showed up and the metallic ink on the spine where the dates are had a good part of it already flaking off. You could hardly see the 1's at all. They answered my email in a matter of 15 minutes and overnighted another box set that showed up today. They weren't even too concerned that it was already opened.

    shop accordingly in the future. that's the only way tc will improve their customer support.

    I guess I am in somewhat of a different situation, considering my SDE edition was lost or stolen, but Ten Club did not hesitate to send out a replacement for me. I did not expect such a resolution so quick. Thank you Ten Club!!! I am anxiously awaiting to play some vinyl!!!

  • Alessiana, I'm in the same situation. I spoke to a best buy rep yesterday and she said that they are not expecting another shipment until sometime between April 13th and April 27th. I'll also stick with Ten Club next time.

    Yep, I got the same response too about mine being damaged in shipping. Any idea how long we should wait before SONY reply? It's already been 2 weeks since I first emailed and I'd really like it sorted, or at least a more convincing response, as soon as possible.

    I called again today. I widened my search and if I want to drive to Philly, I can get the album at a store, which is ridiculous considering how early I ordered it. In my opinion, the store should ship to me. I shouldn't have to drive to get it.
