New album leaked. I am psyched. havent given it a listen, but Carnavas is one of the most played cd's in my stereo the last few years.
Indeed, every review of them mentions the similarity to the Pumpkins and indeed Brian's voice sounds alot like Billys and the melody and tone of the music resembles Pumpkins albums, they really are their own band, and I hear that the new album fleshes this out more.
I like the irregular tunings and out of kilter solos this band has. Waste it On, Lazy Eye, Well Thought out Twinkles Three Seed.
And the gem from Pikul, Kissing Families
