Finally - A GREAT BOX - thanks Pearl Jam!!!

Hi,

after all the discussion about customs, signed boxes or unsigned, UPS, complaining, etc. I think it's time to say

IT'S A GREAT BOX!!!

I got the box last friday and now I listen DITP again and lots of memories come up. I bought "TEN" about 17 years ago and had the opportunity to see them in '92. It's one of my favorite records and this music iniated a great time.
When I flip though the notebook I remember the days listening "TEN" several times a day, because of the great music and lyrics as well. DITP remembered me on my first PJ concert. The power of the band and atmosphere in the audience - unforgettable.

The Unplugged DVD is great as well - this was my first PJ bootleg I bought. I still have the old video tape.

I have no issues about the minor imperfections eg. Ritfw is missing. PJ is not perfect and I assume that the 10C and the boys, especially Eddie and Jeff, spent a lot of time creating the box. I think that as much fun like I have listening to the music and dig in my box with old PJ memorabilia :D

At least the box is beautiful - excellent material - I hope long-living ;)

    I'd comment but mine's on backorder with Best Buy. The re-issue sold out. Not just the deluxe version, but all versions (in my state at least)

    I wonder if the songs left off this re-issue is because they were cover tunes? I'm thinking this is a celebration of TEN so it looks like they just stuck with those songs....except of course for the extra songs on the remix disc.
    Anyway that is why I think the Unplugged dvd was changed up and the last 2 songs were left of the DITP discs.

    Finally picked mine up on Thursday and the fact that I paid a total of $240 for it doesn't matter anymore, it is worth a lot more than that. Cannot wait to have a library of the super deluxe back catalogue.
