Definitely once of the best children's books ever! I just email the link to my mom, who is a 1st grade teacher, and she is going to read the book with her class to prep them for the movie. The wild things look just like the book!

I will be curious to see how they stretch the book into a full length movie though.

How cool and interesting is it that a film has been made of it .......... can't wait for that one. :P

Never heard of the book before. :? Does anyone know if it's well known in Europe? Or is it such an America only thing? Trailer looks good though, the song sounds even better. :)

These are my favorite Children's Stories of all time!

I also like "The Missing Piece" and this really obscure one called "Just Right" it's about an old couple with a house for sale.

I am so super excited by this movie!! I want to get a wild things tattoo - but i have not decided which one to go with. it was one of my absolute must reads when I taught Pre-School

I think some books should be left as books and to children's imagination. This movie looks like nothing but weird and I LOVE the book. Harold and the purple crayon would make a cool movie! I think the Giving tree should be left alone as well...look what happened to the DR. Seuss books as movies? They're HORRID.
