Lyric for acknowledgments...

I'm currently finishing up my PhD thesis and I'm looking for a lyric for my acknowledgments. The best I've come up with so far is "we were but stones - your light made us stars" Any other ideas?

    I'm currently working on my Ph.D. dissertation, and all I can think of is "get outta my fuckin' face."
