I made a post on here a few days or a week ago, but it was before the 10 Club switched my name back to my old name, so I couldn't track it down, but anywho, I was just wondering the possibility that Pearl Jam might score a #1 or top 5 selling album with the reissue. And while on the top 200 list, that won't be the case, according to Billboard they may top one list...

"Over on the Top Pop Catalog Albums chart, Sony Legacy's lavish reissue of Pearl Jam's 1991 debut "Ten" could shift more than 50,000, easily placing it at No. 1."

'In addition, Legacy Editions’ massive multi-format Pearl Jam Ten reissue seems headed for 40-50k in first-week sales, with fan club and Amazon leading the way.'

50k should put it in the top 20 on the Billboard 200.

You're right, based on last weeks chart:

    1 KELLY CLARKSON RCA/RMG 86,957 ALL I EVER WANTED
    2 TWILIGHT ATLANTIC 77,690 SOUNDTRACK
3 U2 INTERSCOPE 77,597 NO LINE ON THE HORIZON
    4 THE-DREAM DEF JAM/IDJMG 51,204 LOVE VS. MONEY
5 LADY GAGA INTERSCOPE 50,406 FAME

    it could be top 5!

Not bad for an album that sold 12 million copies and people had 18 years to buy beforehand. Goes to show the interest that people still have for PJ. (Now if only I could meet some of these people)
    Thanks EPOTTSIII!

I seem to have that issue too. Some friends of mine are casual fans, but nowhere near the level I'm at.

LOL it looks like Ten has the shot of being number one 18 years later. How pathetic is todays music.

And 50k sounds pitiful, I thought record sales back in the day were like atleast 100k and alot more.

I don't think it's gonna be on the Billboard 200. It's gonna be in the Pop Catalog chart since it's an old record.

Looks like it would have taken 5th with sales of 60,000 but it's not a new release. Took the top slot in the catalog chart.
