Matt Cameron's best studio moment with PJ

I'm listening to Binaural, and Matt kicks so much ass on God's Dice, its ridiculous. He makes that song in my opinion.

So it got me curious, live shows aside, what's everyone's favorite Matt Cameron moment on a PJ album. I'd have to say for me its Gods Dice.

I'm not much of a gods dice fan so i never really listen to the drums.

I love his work on Marker in the Sand personally.

The bridge part is sick. I also love his work on "Grievance," though the production is kind of strange. I'll never forget him owning that song on Letterman.

I think matt usually shines live. I'm more of a Abbruzzese fan on pretty much all their earlier stuff, but on Matt-songs Matt is great. I'll say Severed Hand for tom-tom use. I enjoy copying Matt when playing my kit on Grievance too.
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)

You know, that's really weird. I was sitting on the bus this morning, on my way to uni (meh!), with my iPod on PJ shuffle. On comes God's Dice which I've always loved, and I thought to myself "Holy shit! How fucking incredible are the drums on this song!!" :D

The other guys make good points too though, Marker and Grievance are also fantastic!! Matt is a great drummer no doubt about it. Probably the best time-keeper out there, but he just doesn't have that "snap" and ferocity that Dave A had.
    In Pearl Jam we trust!

Exactly what I was thinking when I saw this thread. Good call.

Insignificance for me, its not an overpowering drum part but i just think it is perfect and builds perfectly with the entire song. It just sounds great to me. Marker and 1/2 full are close behind.

You Are is one of their best tunes put out this decade.
