Don't know where I'm staying either...getting in on Friday night on the Victoria Clipper...probably around 9pm... Have NO idea how we're going to get around town...hoping to get a hotel close to the Showbox, but not too close... Unless someone wants to put us up for a couple of days....or maybe arrange a group rate at a downtown hotel... I can't afford the Pan Pacific this year...dang! ;)

Last year I used priceline.com and chose to name my own price. Go downtown hotels 4 stars and up - start at $80 or so. I got the Sheraton for $110 - it was nice and about 3 or 4 blocks away. Know that you'll probably have to pay for parking at most downtown hotels - so keep that in mind when renting cars and considering the pros and cons of car rental vs cab/bus.

I am local but staying w/ a group in a hotel anyway because we're going to PARTY and it would not be any fun to drive home after! 8-)

    cheers! dawn

Urs.. I wonder if I should extend my hotel downtown to friday night, too.. but I have to say, Priceline for hotel airports is killer, especially if you get the Radisson by luck. Parking is free there. Bid like 40 bux for a 3 star or higher for Friday night and I'm sure you'll get either Double Tree, Radisson, Hilton, etc.. Having a car downtown will add 30-35 dollars/night to your stay.

Well we are not staying downtown the parking would make my car way to expensive!
I think Ima book the same hotel I did when I went last year, its around the corner from the Space Needle right on Aurora Ave but I cant remember the name, or maybe in Queen Anne, Im not sure yet, we are aiming for like really cheap though we only need to crash for a few hours on Friday night.

Got the Westin downtown for $99 from HotWire...that's not terrible...normally we pay around $170 US for a hotel in Seattle... And we'll get in sometime early Saturday afternoon...(we've decided to drive)...Don't think there'll be too much "hanging with my peeps" time for me...

Hey....is the food going to be more Crohn's-friendly this year? My friends LOL at the Tobasco sauce and hot wings!!! I, however, LOVE the potato salad, even though it can go very bad very quickly... ;)

Hey Patrick.. If you guys behind thge cheese curtain are getting wind like we are down here, you might not need to drive your crap to Denver after all.. just set it outside at the nearest trailor park and it'll at least make it to Kansas. ;)

for the Stone show at the Can Can u may want to try the queen ann inn. We booked it 2 days before the show on expedia and got it for 39.99 it has a kitchen in it and everything. Plus it is right behinds Dicks and 1 block from easy street. Then I believe u take the 16 bus and it will take u right to the showbox,or u can walk it.

Chris Adams mentioned that they might make it all ages next year, so there you go, it may be a possibility for next year ;)
