Unplugged Again??

With the SDE having the 1992 unplugged, wouldn't it be great to pump out another unplugged for the upcoming studio album? I mean unplugged now is just basically any big act just wanting to promote themselves. Well, to me, this would work great. We finally get the original unplugged on dvd (without the rolling time at the bottom of the screen, thank god) well it's time to repeat the performance. Throw in say 5 new songs and throw in some acoustic classics like nothingman, long road, around the bend...the choices are endless. What do the fellow jammers think of my idea? and what would be song you would wanna hear acoustic?

i dont think any jammer would really be opposed and if i could choose just one song to be played acoustic it would have to be......Not For You....only b/c its one of my fav songs to be played live and LOUD and im very curious how it would sound on acoustic guitars in an unplugged atmosphere

I decided to respond to this IN SPITE of the fact that you used the word "j@mm%r" (I can't bring myself to even type it).

Aw, fuck it. I can't remember what this thread was about anymore.

I do think it's a great idea with a new unplugged concert. Came to mind that R.E.M. did their first Mtv Unplugged in 1991 after Out Of Time and the second ten years later in 2001 after Reveal, calling it Unplugged 2.0.

(In my mind I can hear and see them playing Betterman, with the intro arranged like the Vitalogy version with the Hammond B3 organ or alternatively the Fender Rhodes electric piano as they did on the Bridge School Concerts in 1996 with Brendan O'Brien on the Rhodes,... and yes I am crying)

Off topic: Does anyone know if Boom is playing keyboards on the new album or could it be Brendan O'Brien, as he's the producer again?

    I really don't see a point because:
    1) Unplugged doesn't hold the same reputation that it did those many years ago.
    and
    2) They just did Storytellers in 2006.

    Wash
    Of The Girl
    Tremor Christ
    In My Tree
    Sad
    Hail Hail
Daughter -> Bugs -> Push Me Pull Me
    Present Tense
    Light Years
    No Way
    Long Nights
Chloe Dancer -> Crown Of Thorns (w/ piano)
    Immortality
    Severed Hand
    Habit

lots of songs with "Jams" in them

A dvd of Benaroya would be amazing, and Unplugged 2 would preferrably have some songs that havnt been done acoustically before imo.
