Haven't gotten a chance to open and dig into my super deluxe box yet. On my way home...
Just wondering,...
is the remastered ten cd that is box the ORIGINAL ten release from 91? or is it basically the ten tracks from rearviewmirror?

Just wondering which to listen to first!!

    will do.
so the remastered ten(with just the 11 tracks) included in the box is just the original cd?

Haven't listened to remaster ....yet.Not sure really what remastering does/would do for the music. Someone more knowledgable will have to answer that. I'm assuming the sound is the same.

I can easily tell the difference between the versions. I haven't listened to the remastered version of the original Ten, but the original "Ten" compared to the Brendan O'Brien version is really different. Brendan's version is clearly better, clearer, I can hear guitar sounds and Eddie's vocals like never before!!! It's like the first time I heard the album. I played the shit out of the original Ten, and this new version is unbelievable!!! I don't know if I can ever listen to the old version again. It's ridiculous!!!

Definately, seems like we hear more stuff "underneath" what we'd always heard.

Brendan O'Brien has always been my favorite producer for Pearl Jam as well as many other bands I listen to. He is truly a gifted individual!

I feel like I'm on drugs listening to the REMIX. It just sounds so new and I'm hearing things I never heard before and I feel like my ears are being trained to hear music in a different way. It's way intense.

Is it just me or does the vinyl remix sound a lot lot better than the cd remix? Perhaps its just as i listened to the vinyl first then put the cd on later and didn't notice a great difference second time round?

Maybe that's why its meant to be listened to on vinyl then as you can hear much more of the remix? :geek:
