Best Buy sales

I just picked up my SDE at Best Buy during my lunch and got the last one in stock. I also noticed they only had two of the Deluxe editions left. I was surprised actually - didn't think there were many PJ fans in Greensboro who would shell out the $$$ for the SDE. :)

Can't wait to get home and look through all the stuff!

    I pre-ordered the DE at Best Buy and it said that it is back ordered. I will kill someone if I don't get the code.

    best buy here in halifax is selling the 2 cd & 1 dvd set for 43.99 cdn!
    the dartmouth crossing store, couldn't find a box set for sale.

    but they did have rock band essentials for the weekend coming! ;)

    I purchased the Deluxe Edition at the Best Buy in Seekonk, MA and there was only 1 left on the shelf (not counting the 1 purchased). This was at 2:30 p.m.

    I went into Best Buy today and there were 3 or 4 still left, priced at $190 :shock:

    Did they have any giveaways at the store with the purchase (poster,singles,stickers)

    I saw that too when I picked mine up. I got really upset for a second and told them to do a price check before I paid for it. Its actually $125.

    brutal, try the futureshop across the street - $33.99 (and they are owned by Best Buy - figure that one out!) Or better yet, print the page from the futureshop website and go to best buy, they'll match the $33.99 and beat it by 10% of the difference..

    I went into a Best Buy this afternoon in Austin to see what the setup was like. I was expecting some sort of promotional posters or a special display case or something. Nada. The Super Deluxe was a toward the back of the music section with the other box sets. They had one. I asked the guy how many they got in - one.

    Whats up with all the overpricing? I went to my local record store today to buy the deluxe edition, but it was listed for 42 bucks. I had to go home and order it off amazon for 27...another 5 days I guess = /

    I'd be interested to see how much it is with my employee discount. Being a part-time employee has it's benefits :twisted: I'm glad I bought it through 10C anyway though.
