How amazing is Momma-Son?

For me, that cassette tape with the original versions of those three songs was the best part of the entire package. Footsteps gave me chills. Now I just have to find a way to burn them on a CD or something...
Also, I'm trying to decipher all the stuff Ed said during "Once.". Anybody figure it out yet?

I'm really loving this version of "Footsteps"; just amazing.

Listening to this cassette, you get an idea of how floored Jeff and Stone must have been hearing "that voice" for the first time.

It's great to be able to hear those songs in their earliest form.

"No fuckin' shit!!!!" :D I ran a cable from the line-out on my stereo (which fortunately still has a tape deck and turntable) to the line-in on my computer and did a record using Audacity.
Rock me Jesus, roll me Lord...
Wash me in the blood of Rock & Roll
  • I can't stop listening to "Footsteps" on that cassette! My car is so old that it still has a tape player in it, so I've been blasting those 3 songs everywhere I go. I'm gonna wear it out!

I've always loved Ed saying "bless you" to whoever sneezes on the tape that he is recording his vocals over. :D

Man would it be too much to ask for a d/l of that? I do not have the capabilities to extract it on my own

    Please! lol

If its not too much to ask lol. either way thanks for the consideration.

A download of this would be sweet! These songs really should've been available as a download the same way Drop In The Park was

Ditto, I'm begging for a way to hear this too.

If anyone is able to help out those of us with out cassette deck access, I'm sure we would all be eternally grateful. I can provide a scan of my UPS receipt as evidence of ownership, just to prove I'm not ripping the band off in any way also (I don't illegally download stuff).

That tape is the reason I bought that overpriced package. As I don't have a cassette player, it's still unwrapped ;) It's easy to find the mp3's online, though.

Here you can listen to it on Youtube. There's a link to download it too. Looks safe, but no guarantees, so be careful!
