Did you run the 15k yesterday or is it at some point in the future?

I joined the Running Room 10k progam a bunch of years ago and the first night we had to run 7k! I'd never run before so it took me about three hours! By the end of the course I was able to run a 12.2k, but my knees were on fire for weeks! Oh, and I was dead last, but at least I finished it!

i am doing a half marathon in september in the hamptons, ny!

why? because i finally can! since may of 2008 i've lost just about 100lbs and i am 15lbs away from being a "normal" bmi. i beat my friends on a 2 mile shamrock run which amazes me cause they were always in shape.
i have never felt this good physically in my life and being able to do a half marathon is exciting to me~

Doing a marathon is some type of rite of passage for white people after a major event in their life. Their girlfriend will dump them, somebody dies, they have an epiphany about global warming, etc. They'll write a bunch of poetry that no one wants to read, and then they'll bounce back by entering into a marathon (usually followed by traveling abroad). I don't understand this white person phenomenon.

I just thought it would be fun I am already in pretty good shapek, so doing this won't be very difficult. Plus there is a sweet ass party after at the local brewery, which may be the real reason I'm doing it.

I decided in January I would run the Peachtree Road Race here in Atlanta. It's a 10k. Up to that point, I hadn't run so much as a mile in 8 years. Good luck.
