He's not my favorite PJ drummer but you've got to give him mad props for getting the ball rolling. With the new mix you can really hear his grooves shine through. Nice to see the rest of the band give him praise in some of the recent interviews as well.
So this life is sacrifice...

yeah, from the sounds of things, the only reason he had to leave was because of some addiction/alcohol issues he had... from what i've seen, he took himself out of the mix to get clean... would've been cool to see him stick with it to see what they turned into, but.. i guess they turned out alright without him. : )

great drummer though... he played on their biggest hits, and played only what was needed.

Dave is the f'n man! I'm all for the thread!!!!

In a recent interview with Jeff, he said that he left the band because he recently got married and had a baby right when the band started touring and that wasn't for him.

If you haven't checked his new band out- here is their myspace link:

Both Dave's, Jack, and Matt on stage together, Playing all the songs they recorded on. Then I would be able to turn the page.

A few things I've read lately had Eddie, and Jeff or Stone throwing him mad props. That was cool. :D

I'll second this thought. I can't believe how good this guy sounds on the redux edition. I was really amazed.

    Hat's off to Dave K!

Always thought Krusen was a badass drummer. his beats sound so much better on the redux.
