does anyone know who sang ...SMALL TOWN at the eddie vedder solos shows before he went on? i know he did it at a few got the b@$ts to prove it and he did it the NYC shows i was at.. i have been looking for it since i got home.. the B@@*s can only do so much im looking for the studio version.....

  • Check twofeetthick.com. I was at the 8/2 Boston show, and in the notes it says that its from African singer Mburu. If you find a good version of it, let me know, cuz I'd like to have it myself.

    It is from an African singer Mburu. Eddie explained it at Toronto night 1. If I remember correctly he gave the cover to Ed's brother. He said something along the lines of him being 65 and having 1 tooth.

    thats what i thought...i even said to my girlfriend at the NYC shows that it sounds like a black man about 70 years old.....

    i think its great... we need a copy of it

    i said that same thing the other day listening to one of the B@@!s.... it would be a great song to have as a D SIDE to a double LP for christmas SINCE THEY GET 365 DAYS TO GET ONE READY WHY ARE THEY ALWAYS SO EFFIN LATE.....
