It won't be until September, but I'm looking into hotel bookings now. Can anyone recommend a good place to stay and what areas of the city to avoid? Any assistance would be most appreciated. Thanks :D

When we went to see PJ in 07 myself and hubby stayed in the Cab Inn close to The Forum, but i think there are a few dotted around Copenhagen. They're a chain, bit like Travel Inns, etc. Room was pretty small but it did the job for me (i.e. a place to sleep very close to the venue PJ were playing at!)

    Hope this helps :)

Of all the places in the world I've been to, Copenhagen is the one place I've felt the safest in. As far as I'm concerned, there's no area in central Copenhagen to be avoided.

Except for any pedestrian crossing when the light is red. Even if it's 4am and there isn't a car or bike anywhere to be seen. Some local will shout at you for doing the wrong thing, even if there's absolutely no reason why you should wait for the light, even if it's freezing cold and you just wanna get your arse back to the comforts of indoors.

Other than this one little quirk, them Danes are the most welcoming people in the world.

Not quite sure yet :D She'll either be heading to Comox to stay with friends or to Grande Prairie to stay with her grandparents  We'll see what happens. Did you get your SDE yet???

Thanks for the advice Hinn. Good to know.
