I cannot believe that no one on this board has brought up the greatest show in TV right now.... East Bound and Down. I think that this is arguably one of the funniest TV shows that I have ever seen. Everyone that I talk to that has seen the show agrees that it is brilliant.

What are everyone's thoughts?

Its a comedy on HBO about a down on his luck former Major League Baseball relief pitcher who thinks that he is still on top of the world. He has to move back in with his brother and family and take a job as a high school gym coach. It is hilarious. They have aired 5 episodes already and tonight is the season finale. You should definately check it out.

Heard that show's not bad. No HBO here so I gotta go with South Park with House a very close second for me. Those are the only two I'll ever set aside time to see.

Sounds like something I might be interested in. I'll try to check it out this week. As of right now my favorite show on TV has to be "Castle"

It is a funny show. The guy that stars in it is really funny. I did not like the first episode, but they got better after that.

Eastbound and Down is hilarious! Danny McBride is great as Kenny Powers... such an asshole. Stevie is hilarious as well.

The first episode of this season about Disney and Jonas Bros was priceless.

I'm Kenny Powers and I throw a baseball hard as FUCK!

-“You’re not the only athlete here at Jeff Davis. I happen to be training for a Triathlon right now. Well, you know all about that.”

Kenny Powers: “No, actually I don’t. I play real sports. I’m not trying to be the best at exercising.”

    love this show!

I'm a supporter of this. South Park is genius. Each season they leave my jaw dropped to the floor.

RIght now though, my girlfriend and I are on a Dexter kick...I just can't get enough of that show!!!

    californication/entourage

Those are two of my favorite shows as well along with Weeds. I think Californication is one of the best written shows on TV.

I don't know why I love East Bound and Down as much as I do. I just can't help but laugh everytime I see the mullett on Kenny Powers.

One we are liking, husband gets that belly laugh going, which I really like to hear him laugh, is Men of a Certain Age. I guess he can relate.
I really like Andre Braugher (from the movie Duets).
the show is happy sad kind of thing can make you cry too. Just life you know and facing being old and having it change and slip away.
