I think it's high time I do. I know my hubby has downloaded all of the episodes. He needs to make dvds of them for me and one of our friends.
*goes off to nag*
I don't have TV reception, but I do have a TV, a DVD player, and Netflix. The first TV show I decided to re-watch through Netflix was Northern Exposure. I'm still not through the whole series, so it's the only TV show I watch these days.
Chris is my favorite too! (Side note: My sister, who's a radio DJ, met him recently when he came into the studio. She said he was all fascinated and noted that it was because he used to play a DJ on TV.)
Whenever I tell people they think I'm nuts, haha.
I even went to Alaska inspired by this show (among other things) Best series ever.

Yeah, loved that show.
I have visited Cicely, AK many times via Roslyn, WA. You can go there and see The Brick Tavern, Ruth Ann's store front. Fleishman's office. The Bear radio station where Chris would broadcast from. The whole shibang. Being it was filmed rigt here in my back yard, yeah, I really liked the show.
It had excellent and very creative writing and the actors were all perfect for their roles. Some of the characters from that show feel like family.
(and I had a huge crush on Maggie!)

If PJ ever does another Gorge show, you should hit The Brick for a pre- or post-show brew -- Roslyn is right off the interstate between Seattle and George.
Chris is the best!!!!!! Love the series. Got hooked on it from the first episode. It was so.... different! And quircky!
This was an awesome show. Maybe a purchase of the series is in my future... My favorite character was Ed.
i'd like to live there

Me me me me me hands up waving in the air, jumping up and down shouting me me me me me ... the best show ever.
I have been to Roslyn too ... when in Seattle we did a Northern Exposure tour. They were filming at the time but were on a day of the day we went.
We had lunch at the Brick and the lady who owns and lives in the house that is Ruth Anne's in the series was sitting on her porch when we walked by.She invited us to sit with her awhile and we sat and chatted with her.She was so sweet and hospitable.
I liked the ones with Chris and his brother

Moose crossing.
One episode stands out involving an old man, a young lady, & a radio and ended with a song and a dance and I think it was sad. Maybe just the song was sad. I DON'T KNOW.
look at all the people in this thread. I miss 'em :(
