so i was just doing a virus sweep in safe mode, it caught a trojan called Ssaxiyovuz.dll, so i got rid of it, and when i restarted the computer i was greeted with a message that says something like "unable to load C:\windows\Ssaxiyovuz.dll module" I tried putting the .dll into google but nothing came back. everything seems to be working fine now otherwise but i don't know how to get rid of that message on startup. i've tried searching my computer for that file but again nothing comes up. any computer people here with ideas?? Thanks in advance!

Some programs, both good and bad, create file names with random strings of characters. Spyware, viruses, trojans, and other pain-in-the-ass programs do it to hide from the anti-virus and anti-spyware programs. Anti-virus programs do it so that they can't be disabled by a virus or spyware application that knows how to disable it. Off the top of my head, I know that McAfee Antivirus does this. Zone Alarm may also.

    Anyway, try this:

Go to the Start menu and click on "Run..." and type in "msconfig"
Go to the "Startup" tab and look in there for that .dll. You may have to adjust the column widths to be able to see everything. If you find it in there, un-check the box in the left-most column to keep it from loading every time you fire up your system.

If you don't find it that-a-way, let us know and maybe we can get a plan B :D

You can try doing a run and then mrt. MRT is the malicious removal tool that is part of Windows. It's specialized for a bunch of the more hardcore viruses and I don't know if Ssaxiyovuz is part of it. If it is, I'm sure it will remove it properly and delete where it's trying to call Ssaxiyovuz.dll.
