Will Pearl Jam ever release an album free online like other bands such as NIN, radiohead etc?

Nope, why should they? We get to bootleg and free-trade most of the shows. When we do buy something from the band, it usually has a perk; shirt, cd, better seats, ect. I'll spend the money for a new CD, no big deal.

We're still holding out hope for this tour... right?

Maybe if they're not offering boots, they'll play some new songs...

I'm pretty sure that was going to be the "Big , Bold , Free" thing for thae last album. Im sure there were some issues with it being just for 10 club or something.

Maybe. I'm sure they think it's a great idea, they were, after all, one of the first bands to start the whole internet distribution concept. They developed that Basecamp software for the bootlegs, and I think WWS was the first single ever to be online only or something. I think PJ have made their mark on improving the industry, esp via the internet, and they've always been cool to the fans, so I wouldn't doubt that more is on the way
