An 8hr day you are entitled to...(2) 15 min breaks and a 30 min lunch

If you're only taking 20 mins you should not be docked the extra 10 mins if you're working those 10 mins

actually this state has no law requiring lunches or breaks. if they give breaks, they must be paid. i worked 2 places before where we didnt get lunch. one place was 2 10 breaks the other was 1 10, and 1 20. which was nice cause we got to go home a half hour earlier. 8 hours at the company, 8 hours paid. i like the idea i get paid for every second at the place. id rather go home 30 minutes early than wait in line for a microwave in the middle of the day.

Yes, I would definitely have a talk with your manager, payroll, or HR person about this discrepancy.

i work through a temp agency and when i questioned it i was told the company always rounds figures(which i mentioned, obviously in their favor) and if i dont like it i shouldnt go back to that company. thats why i was wondering if its illegal cause no one i complained to cares. so i was wondering if i need to take it up with the county/state or a lawyer or something.
