OK...first off the Ten Redux sounds absolutely phenomenal. I mean, the original didn't even make my sub work but with the redux it's working overtime...but you can't hear the bass (only feel) 'cause the guitar's are so amazingly loud and well mixed!!! YAY!!!

Second...Anyone ever take a look at the version of Jeremy on the single???? Guess who mixed the single version....hmmm.... :)

So far I like the remix Brendan O'Brian did. I listened to original and remix versions with good headphones. The difference is sometimes pretty impressive like for Garden intro. I'm one of those who didn't like the production of the original Ten. I found it too polished, too thin in a way.
The remix version sounds more raw which something which suits my ears better. Guitars are well detailed. And I find the bass more present as well.
Overall it feels louder than the original version.

Yeah, agreed- It took me many listenings to get into the original- too over produced. With Mudhoney and Nirvana out there, it sounded too radio friendly and murked out- reminded me of the orignal Raw Power and the production there by Bowie. I was thrilled when they went the other way on Vs. I did eventually come around, after seeing them at Lollapalooza 92 in Seattle. But this version pleases me more, a more raw, real, live sounding mix. Thanks, all.
