So my brother's name is gonna be on the back of TWO jerseys tomorrow for Irelands attempt at our first grand slam victory since 1948 :shock: it'll be on the back of O'Gara's who's one of our best and most important players... and also on the back of Leamy's, who's a sub but a great one.

It was a free competition... where everyone can submit their names and the numbers on the back of the jerseys are made up of supporters names.. randomly picked. Makes it even MORE exciting as if that were possible :mrgreen:

    If you go to www.bethedifference.ie you can zoom in on each number on each jersey to see whose names will be on it... there are loadsa names on each one so unfortunately I don't think he gets to keep/buy it afterwards :( :mrgreen: especially if we win the grand slam it will be worth thousands :mrgreen:

    It was a really nice idea... whoever came up with it... dunno if any team's done this before? :?:

    nuts isnt it? im finished at 6, its in the UCD masters school place in Carysfort (having trouble remembering the name, lol!)... so ill hop,skip & jump on down to Blackrock village proper once the exam is done.....god, i actaully sound like a leprechaun there....weird

    This would be pretty disappointing if it was a competition held in Wales and the guy who won was named Jones.

    Fuck that, no one would be able to tell the difference.

    :mrgreen: thank you... yep, the first in 61 years... in all honesty I never thought I'd see one in my lifetime :oops: and I wasn't nervous in the match (bullshit :mrgreen: ) until the last kick... 80 hard fought minutes all came down to one kick in the last 10 seconds :shock: and it went OUR way... OURS!!! Yeh, I'm still speechless... not quite sure if it really happened or not :oops:

    saw from 20th minute! i was a nervous wreck after that match....we'll be playing as "Defending Champions" now....EPIC finish to the match. Jones was so close? looked like only a few feet short? wow.

    we deserved it over the match, and over the championship. so many years of "almosts"...this is all the more sweeter for it!

    Yep, we definitely deserved it... and those group of players deserved it. Wow that kick though... seemed to go on forever... I was looking and yet not looking :mrgreen: and it looked like it was definitely over... then it wasn't :shock: can't wait til the dvd comes out :mrgreen:
