...because as I put my SDE on the shelf I saw the spine.

The dates make me think there may be a Super Deluxe for each album. It looks like we may have a bunch of these sucka's after all the re-issues. I'm gonna be uber-broke. :(

What do you think?

I spoke to someone at the 10C a couple of months ago and was told that they don't even know what the future re-releases will entail. So I don't think there is "plan" to have a super deluxe edition of each release, but that's not to say that there won't end up being one.

They've said that we'll keep getting them, but they won't be as elaborate. I doubt that every album will be remixed. And there's no reason for a cassette tape with future albums either. But I imagine we'll get the album on LP, a concert LP, a cd w/bonus tracks, a DVD, and a book for every other release. So maybe in the $100 range instead of $140.

So one less cd, one less LP, and no cassette for future releases. That sounds about right to me, but it's just speculation on my part.

When they announced the TEN rerelease they said we would be getting rereleases of all the albums. The last rerelease comming in 2011. The 20th anniversary of TEN. It's on here somewhere.

True...but I just wonder if we'll get such a tricked out version of each album as we did for Ten, or just a re-issue.

The rerelease of TEN is a way for the band to finally do the album the way they wanted to. All the extra stuff is just for the fans. I think all the other rereleases will have a few extras. Nothing like the SDE.
