    Was Rock Band the only reason you wanted the PS3? I've been thinking of getting one, but I'm not to sure if it would be worth it.

    nope...the blu-ray player was also a big draw along with the price. $320 for an 80gb from dell...free shipping, too.

    ok...cool. i have to eat dinner and get everything set up--not sure if i'm gonna be playing tonight, but i'll post my gametag when i'm ready. i was hoping to play online with another pj fan. mind you, i'm not an expert at this game by any means, but i'm great on easy. :lol:

    They're not free, it's 160MS points per song and then the whole album will be bundled together for slightly cheaper. If anyone wants to play on Xbox Live my gamertag is JedEgan and I play expert guitar!

    the blu-ray drive in my ps3 failed out of the box so i dell is overnighting me a new ps3. i'll get back to you when i'm set up so we can jam online to some pj.
