The reason why we have not had an update is because, it is going by UPS Ground. They are literally driving the thing cross country, they do not scan it until it reaches the final facility. Once it reaches that, it will update and be out for delivery near your home. That's why, it is not making stops and being scanned again for the duration of the trip.

So, I hope I calmed some nerves!

    My guess is that intl and west coast people have posted the scanning updates in the thread and some people didn't realize that the East coast boxes were UPS ground. I haven't seen anybody freaking out about it, just asking questions. Mine's coming Monday so the only update I need is the rumble of the UPS truck out front and the doorbell ringing that day.

    Right now I think all the East Coast box sets are on a big truck... or multiple big trucks, heading this way. The next time they open the truck and pull them out, they'll scan them. Until then, they're still on the same darned truck.

    I am not sure why people feel a need to post in this thread and be rude to the original poster who was trying to help people. If this doesn't concern you, move on to another thread, don't feel obligated to make some dumb comment about this being unnecessary.

    With that said... thank you for posting. I did not know it was traveling by truck, and assumed it would be traveling by air, which did confuse me as to how it could have left Seattle the 16th or 17th and not at least be to my city yet. So I appreciate you clearing it up, and now I understand why it will be here the 23rd, and I will stop hoping it arrives before then. Thanks again!
