I never heard a bad Wash, with drums, without drums, speed wash, whatever.
First saw it performed at Holmdel and have loved all versions ever since...

    .........>>>

Oh please let it rain today. This city's so filthy. Like my mind in ways.
Oh it was the time. Like a clean new taste.
Smiling eyes before me, inches from my face.

Wash my love. Wash my love. Wash my love, yeah.

Sin for sale. Buying just a need. Just who planted all the devils seeds?
And what's the truth? And the truth that lies at home.
It's on the inside and I can't get it off. Yeah.
I was alone and far away when I heard the band start playing!

...I was always a DeadHead, but when I first heard Winston Rodney, aka the Burning Spear, sing, I became a SpearHead too!

  • I like to set my wash on the permanent press cycle. my clothes seem to be softer in the end. but maybe that's just my 'Tide with bleach'.
