Yup, that was made for me!

It arrives on Monday and i CANNOT wait to use it!

Honestly, it was such a pleasure talking with Scott Miyako through each and every step. If you're debating a new cabinet, send him an email, he's such a great guy!

That is aweful purdy... the maple accents really make the whole package pop. I would've gone with a different grillcloth, but that's the easiest thing to change later anyways.

Hope you've got a roadcase for that thing... natural wood cabs get ding'ed up fast!
...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.

yup got a roadcase...as for the grillcloth...i originally wanted white, but figured that would get real dirty real quick with all the stupid soundguys at venues....

but i couldn't think of any type of grillcloth that would've accented the wood better....was thinking oxblood but then there was too much going on.'

but thank you for the compliment on it...i can't wait, really can't :)

Yeah, I was actually thinking either oxblood or Vox diamonds.

But you better be careful... you're talking to a soundguy! I'd be more worried about the bass player trying to play bass while chugging a jager-bomb!

BTW, what's the amp that's driving that cab? Something Fender-ish, I assume (6L6/6V6)?

On the contrary, it'll be an orange tiny terror....somehow that little puppy sounds killer with what i'm doing...1 being in a PJ tribute band....it gets all the range needed, so small and compact.

It's funny - growing up, you have your first solid state amp, then you learn about tubes, and instantly want something BIG...i went for a marshall tsl100....with a 4x12 of course....and then you learn about tone....which is when i got myself a bogner shiva....then you learn about downsizing and retaining tone...and while the shiva is the best amp i've ever played...the orange tiny terror comes in second with being very versatile while only having 3 knobs...and only weighs 15 pounds as opposed to the shiva in a flight case = TOO FUCKING HEAVY to load for rehearsals and gigs all the time!

haha....i'm eager to hear how it'll sound with the terror in the walnut configuration....i've tried a terror with that specific jensen and it did sound great :)
