WHEN IS THE DAMN TOUR!?!?

Whats goin on with the secrecy on the 2009 tour? PJ needs to at least let us know if they plan a tour for this year. I know they are working on a new album and it will probably be after that but come on already! They must know we are all anxious Jam heads dying to hand over our money and three hours of our lives dont they? If and when they go back on tour they should start it off in Jeff's home state in Missoula what do you guys think?

I think an easier solution would be if they would work on booking venues earlier than it seems that they are. I don't believe there would be any benefits for them to keeping information until the last minute - which makes me think they simply are last minute about booking shows. Phish just announced their August tour today, and had their July plans up about a month and a half ago, I believe. The reason I bring this up is because Pearl Jam fans travel for the band just like Phish fans do - it would be really nice if they would recognize this and put their plans up a bit earlier.

I like to hold onto the (very slim) possibility that they will do another 10 stop mini tour to promote the Ten reissue this end of spring/summer. Kind of like the last East Coast swing, but up and down the West and South.

Then a full world tour starting in the fall. :D

If I was a betting man however I would guess late summer/fall only. :)

And I don't know what the south cities they would hit would be, but something like:

    Seattle X2
    San Fran X2
    Santa Barbara
    Los Angeles X2
    San Diego

Texas X3 Dallas? Houston? San Antonio?
    Atlanta?

But switch those 4 cities with others that are more likely? When people say "play the South", where do they mean exactly?

or they just wait until the last minute like they have in recent tours and give fans not alota time to make plans knowing that either way fans will travel.

expect a major city fall tour of the west coast and south

Notice on that sell sheet the new album (avocado) isn't listed? I think this may be more for Sony then the band, just a thought, but they might not tour at all for the Ten reissue.

    my guess:
Seattle to preview the new record, then they might be headlining ACL festival in Oct, along with southern and northeast dates before taking time off for the holidays-I think a spectrum gig is a very realistic possibility

    asia/aus/nz jan/feb 2010
    and then more US dates

i really hope they tour after i get a job and make some moneys. otherwise thats just not fair! i'm really wishing they at least pamper the west coast/south first seeing as how we got a tour here in the east coast and they weren't touched. then after i've saved up a few hundred dollars i see a few shows :D
