    That sucks.
I have had it happen, my bank was really good about putting the $ back into my account as long as I filed a police report. I hope yours does the same.

Sounds like an inside job to me Chiqui :? Someone at the bank is probably skimming a little of the top  I hope that you are quickly and fully reimbursed.

Yay on the SDE arriving today though :D

thanks guys. mindi the bank said they would process my claim without a police report, that it wasn't necessary, but i went ahead and did it. i figured it wouldn't hurt anyway!

fifth i wsih it was the deluxe edition....i didn't order it though, so it was just some clothes i ordered online. not nearly as exciting lol

I went thru the same thing in December....someone ordered a duplicate atm card, and made ATM and teller withdrawls of $12,000. I went to the bank right away, and within a few days, I reimbursed.

As a precaution, you may want to sign up for a credit monitoring service for the near future.

    Sucks, don't it?

damn $12K? i guess it serves this mofo right, robbing a broke ass  haha i'm just glad i caught it when i did, waited any longer and they would have cleaned me out altogether! i always make a habit of checking my accounts every day, precisely because of this type of thing. so everybody, keep an eye on your $!

that's a good idea about the credit monitoring service, i had just checked my reports a couple weeks back for free but it'd be a safe thing to do now.
