when i was young i bought cassettes and i was on a mission
that ended in ten wow black followed by jeremy before
and after i was stunned and still today i am
i bought so many bootlegs
and so many singles
and now i search again for a king/queen of a band
not to take over but to help out during down time
waiting for the hit to validate something in my brain
a tingling sensation that can only be hugged with
mikes solo on black of live on two legs
finding a band to help out this problem is tough
but i think the strokes can do it folks

and we all know the mall its the highest of prices
