The Loudness War
I cannot listen to the self titled record of Pearl Jam because of the bad sound. Honestly i listened to it maybe only five times. I have fairly decent hi-fi equipment in my living room (NAD C-372 amplifier and a pair of high quality speakers). After all this time i have been wondering what the hell is wrong with this record. I mean, the more you turn up the volume the worse it sounds.
