For me (even though I am not one of the supposed haters), it's just that there hasn't been anything else to spend my PJ money on.

Actually if you just want the album you can pay about a hundred bucks less.

If people want to buy the 140 dollar version that's their business.

At least the 140 bucks isn't going toward something like a drug addiction or something like that.... Well I guess for some of us PJ is an addiction... hehehehehe

It was that little fucking video on the Best Buy site that sold me. :(

It's all about the memorabilia for me....I just love me that rock music "stuff"...

Not sure I want to watch the DVD, though. The parts I've seen have always made me so sad...A lot of shit was going on for them at the time and you can kinda see they're struggling and are very road weary...

Anyway, I happily spent my $$$ on this - just to look at all the goodies and listen to the different mix of the songs! Whooooo-hooooo!!

It is a sickness, Speedy. Ten is without a doubt one of the PJ albums I listen to the least. But, to hear O'Brien's take on it, plus all the extra goodies, I couldn't help but to order the super duper, way cool, top shelf, super deluxe edition. Okay, I'll admit it, I am most excited about the vellum envelope.

Ten is not my favorite album but I coughed up the money for the super duper deluxe box because of all the cool collectibles that it came with...Drop in the Park on vinyl...The Momma-Son tape...Eddie's notebook...and whatever else they throw in there...I admit it...I'm a sucker for PJ merchandise!

Great point Speedy. I think alot of the people here would buy jars of Jeff Ament urine so i'm not surprised they are dropping $140 for the box. People will buy anything with the PJ name.
