  • Normally, I can wait for official releases. This time though, I'm living away from home so I wouldn't get the 'new' Ten until June or July (I've ordered the super duper version from 10C to my home address), so I figure I'm entitled to sneak a peek.

    It's really, really, really good. Really good. I've always thought the same about the original as the band - it's very produced (if that makes sense). Ten is now the record I wanted it to be. They've actually managed to make Eddie sound angrier. I didn't know that could be done!
    I think Ten didn't age the well (not the songs, more the production), but this sounds like a completely refreshed record.

    Yeah to me at least, Garden and Release are THE standouts amongst the remixes. Ed's voice just sounds insanely good on those tracks.

    State of Love & Trust is slower than i've ever heard it but very cool. I was surprised that Even Flow and Black were different from the versions on the Greatest Hits.

  • These remixes are incredible. It really is like listening to Ten for the first time again. Brendan O'Brien is the fuckin' man, PERIOD. I'm a bit speechless at the moment.....
