who remembers in 2000 when krock played the second jones beach show live on the radio? in the 90s it was awesome. it serves them right for failing because the station sucked anyway the last couple years. Everybody sells out. some bands even have paying-fans-only message boards and $150 re issues.

K-Rock switching formats is diappointing because it was such a well-known rock station in NY, but it doesn't affect me on any level. I've had XM since 2004 and don't need to sit through a 10-minute commercial break between songs. I think it's stupid for them to switch from being one of 2-3 rock stations to being one of a hundred Top 40 stations, though. They're going to have to convince a lot of people to stop listening to shit like Z100 if the new format is going to last. Satellite radio does a better job programming music and anyone can put about 4,000 of their favorite songs on an iPod and not have to hear commercials or some retarded DJ talking over the songs to tell us about the latest (false) rumor about what band is supposed to be reuniting (I heard that the Beatles are touring this summer with Jullian Lennon filling in for his dad and a hat filled with pudding taking George's place).

It's a shame that the people programming rock stations on terrestrial radio keep fucking up the stations so bad that they have to change to something completely different. On the plus side, now Opie & Anthony can go back to being staellite-only (which is how I liked them the best).

I love it when people accuse PJ of selling out and criticise them for having a fan club only board, yet that same board is where you're airing your greievance as a paying 10C member. Talk about hypocracy.

as an avid KROCK listener since '99...its depressing to me to hear booker talkin about stuff last Monday and then the next day they go from KROCK to KRAP w/o a single announcement that this was happening. I didn't even know that they went satellite until now; I thought they had to shut down the station from the economy.

now its just 101.9 WRXP (which took over the jazz station) in my area (Tri-State/New England) for grunge, hard rock, alternative
    there's still classic rock stations like 95.1 , 95.9 , 99.1 , and 102.3 but nothin like 92.3 or the old 104.1
    2005: Borgata 2, Philly
    2006: Camden 1&2, East Ruth 1&2
    2008: BONNAROO, MSG1, MSG2, Hartford
    2009: Philly 1, 2, 4
    2010: Hartford, MSG1, MSG2
    2012: Made in America
    2013: BK1, BK2, Hartford
    2015: Global Citizens
    2016: MSG 2 (ISO MSG1)
EV Solo: NJPAC 2008; Tower Theatre, PA 2009; Hartford 2011

come on i was a 10c member before this thing happened. and its not hypocritical. it would be hypocritical If I was the one that banned the people. ok maybe its a little hypocritical but can't i still be upset? The more you care about someone the more they can hurt you. PJ has recently done things to piss me off. no need for the board sharks to start feeding.
