This album is amazing, and of COURSE it made them. But when ever we see Fav album threads, a lot of people are afraid to say TEN for some reason. Im guessing because they don't want to look like a newbie? TEN as we all know is just an amazing album.

Every song just rocks so effin hard, the re issue means more than honoring their first album. It's honoring a groundbreaking kick ass album.

March 24th one of the best rock albums of our time will be honored, and rightfully so.

Ten is not my favorite...of course I love all their albums...Yield, No Code, Riot Act & Pearl Jam/Avocado are all better...in my opinion and I have been a huge fan of the band since 1992.

No one denies the greatness of the album... People say its not their favorite for a reason. The reason is... People, like me, are sick of it cause we've heard every song from Ten a million times. I love Ten songs live though. And yes I am speaking for the majority of the group. Also, I cant think of the last time I actually put a studio recording into my CD player. With that said.. I cant wait for the 24th...

It's my favorite no contest. It's not only that the album kills it but it came out when I was 17 and just going to college so the timing couldn't have been better. I heart Ten.

    Ten is the gateway album.

It's the album that reels you in and makes you beg for more...

It's not my favorite, No Code is... but it's Ten that got me hooked.

For me Ten, Vs, Vitalogy, No Code and Yield are my favorites, they're all different and for me personally they came out during different stages of my life. Where I was at that moment in my life effects my attachment to each album.

While I really enjoy Ten, it came out when I was 16-17 years old and I associate it with getting my drivers license and blasting "Alive", "Evenflow", "Jeremy" and good times.

But honestly looking back for me Yield is my favorite album.

I think Ten is one of the greatest albums ever made. I love reading about the history of how the band met, how the songs were made, and of course more than anything I love the songs themselves, whether on the album or live. But it's not the album I pick up when I want to listen to Pearl Jam and it's not the album that means most to me. So while I fully recognize the greatness of Ten, I can not with a good conscience list it as my favorite.

Great thread...It hasn't been my favorite PJ album for a long time, but I love it nonetheless...MANY people I know still regard Ten as the best, but to me, the term favorite is used to define a measurement to compare others to, and I dont remember measuring any Pearl Jam album in YEARS against Ten. It is easy for a fan to have an order of interest in their fav bands' albums, but a single favorite album...How can any PJ fan say one is better than another??? I know I am less likely to pop in Ten over No Code, Yield, Binaural, Avocado...but the remastered will surely get some serious spin time...

I doubt that anyone is 'afraid' to say 10. I think people are honest about which album is their favorite when asked.

Currently my favorite is Yield, but at times it has been 10, V's, and Vitalogy.

Seriously, does anyone have a "fast forward song" on VS?
