New PJ song?

I'm a bit confused.

Everyone who knows me knows I'm a freak about PJ. Anyways, the other day my girlfriend come home from work and says "Hey, on x96 today, they said they were going to play new PJ, is there an album coming out?" I told her that they're workign on one, but no time-frame or date has been officialy released.

The next day, my friend Mike who I work with said: "Oh yeah, I was going to tell you that on x96 they said at 10:25, a new Pearl Jam song."

AND then, last night my best friend said "Hey, I heard the new Pearl Jam song on x96 today!"

I can only think of it being re-issued songs from Ten that they are playing...and I do know there are unreleased tracks being released on the new re-issue....but after telling my friend this, he asid it was a song he had definitely never heard before.

Is this a mean joke?
Has anyone else heard local stations playing "new" Ten tracks?
...Or has my prayer been asnwered and there is finally new material? I figured I would've heard of that by now.

    Ahh....you're probably right....

    damnit, I got my hopes up! All though this is still awesome....I am very very hungry for a new album/tour. It's my goal to see multiple shows on the next tour.

    Holy shit! Ditto! i didn't think PJ fans existed out here!!! What a relief...and even better to know that you're an obsessive freak LOL!

    I work up by the U, so I truly am in the heart of SLC 5 days a week.

    If it's a money issue, save up your own and then they have no say!!! or you could just tell them the obvious....

    My goal too, the multiple show thing that is. I hope they tour the US and Europe next and dont come out to Australia til late next year, that way I can save up to visit Sydney and Adelaide as well as my own home town (Melbourne). Last time I only saw them in Melbourne but that wont be enough for me this time, I need to see them in other cities as well cos a lot of the other Aus fans get to travel around the country to see them and I never have. My goal (for next year hopefully). I am hanging out for the new album too, it's exciting to think it will be released in autumn (our spring).
